Sinopsis:
Le Corbusier diseñó en 1958 la Corbusierhaus en Berlín. Una unidad habitacional rodeada de espacios verdes con capacidad para 2000 personas. Aquí se lleva a cabo un estudio de color y movimiento de las zonas comunes del edificio. Un punteo casi, hiperkinético pero también hiperalerta: puertas, pasillos, murales, números, cerraduras, su exterior y espacios de emergencia. Todo lo que podría ser ignorado es revitalizado en la velocidad que va dejando atrás la estela museística para concentrarse en el día a día, en el vigor ignorado del simple espacio cotidiano. Y ahí aparece un formalismo alegre y encantado de los rincones (del edificio y de la propia obra de Le Corbusier), que quiere compartir esa misma dicha y esa misma desacralización. In 1958, Le Corbusier designed the Corbusierhaus in Berlin. A housing unit surrounded with green areas with capacity for 2,000 people. This is a study of the color and movement in the building’s common areas. Almost dotting exercise, hyperkinetic but also hyperalert -doors, hallways, murals, numbers, locks, its exterior and emergency spaces. Everything that could have been ignored is instead revitalized at a pace that leaves the museum trail behind in order to focus on the day-by-day, in the ignored vigor of the simple everyday space. And here appears happy formalism, charmed by the corners (of the buildings and of Le Corbusier’s own work), that wants to share that same joy and that same demystification. JMD
